Hanging Around

Since our event anniversary weekend we have been laying pretty low and staying around here.
Easter weekend we hung out with Tyler's cousin Megan (always a good time) and some of her friends. The next day, we went over to Tyler's uncle and aunt's house to grill and hang out. There again we got to hang out with Megan, Haley, their parents, Tyler's parents and the one and only Hank! That is Haley and Megan's grandad, Julie's dad. He is honestly one of the funniest people I have ever hung around! I could sit and listen to him tell stories for hours. Entertaining doesn't do him justice.
On Sunday, we got up and went to church with my parents. Afterwards we had a lunch at Old Venice, we were stuffed, to say the very least. Their Sunday lunch buffet is so very delish! A must try, for sure.

This past weekend we hung around Tupelo again. Friday night, we had a low key night. We just went to dinner at Outback followed by a trip to TJ Maxx then home. Last night, we had an engagement party to go to for Whitney and Patton! I did Whitney's hair and makeup and it turned out really good! I was very proud of myself and Whitney looked gorgeous as always! The party was fun and its always a good time hanging out with close friends.

Has anybody realized that IT IS MAY!!?? There are so many things that May means:
1. Almost summer time! Which means I am off work for 2 months!
2. MCT2 at work (no bueno)
3. IEP meetings galore....don't even want to go there
4. Meetings in general to wrap up the school year
5. Did I mention its almost summer time??

And let me wrap this post of by talking about this past week. For anyone who knows anything about me, knows that I love/obsess over the weather. I love watching it and seeing it develop. Unfortunately, this past week, developed into something horrifying and so devastating for so many people. We were fortunate enough for the storms to not hit our area directly. What is so scary though is that if you travel 25 miles south...what once was a small town...is now a large pile of sticks pretty much. I can't imagine what those people must be feeling. In the blink of an eye everything you have is gone. Let us all just remember these people and pray for them everyday, I know I do.

That's all for now:)
