Let's get it started....

So last weekend started my mad dash until Christmas. Last Friday we had Kory and Ben's engagement party. It was wonderful! It's always a good time when you hang out with close friends. That night we drove to Greenwood. Every early fall we (the guys actually) have a work weekend to get the fields ready for deer hunting season. Saturday night we celebrated Buster's bday by wearing hats and eating cake. I cooked the cake. It was actually quite delicious!- German chocolate with cream cheese icing. YUM.
This weekend we have a lot going on too. In the morning, I am helping host Vanessa's (my brothers finace) lingerie shower. Tomorrow afternoon Tyler is helping host Chip's (my brother) Tool Shower/Cookout party at our house. Tomorrow night we have a dinner for Kory and Ben at the Thomas' house (I can't wait to eat there because their food has been a highlight of my childhood!).
This fall is going to be so so busy (like I have said before many times on here)...but that means I get to be with my friends a lot, so I'm 100% okay with it!!

Just in case you're curious...what am I doing tonight?? WELL- NOTHING. Tyler is working late...when he started his new job, I knew there would be a few late nights, but I didn't think they would be THIS late. He probably won't be home tonight until midnight or after. He works for The Southern Company. They service/install etc...everything that has to do with gas stations. Tonight-he and the guy he works with had to record footage off of a camera from a gas station in Okolona from where 2 men robbed and shot a truck driver! SCARY!---now he's on his way to Tuscumbia, AL because something is wrong at one of the stations there. So I call myself a "work widow" on nights like these. My 1st cousin has the same job for another company and his fiance, Lindsey, warned me of these type of nights. Oh well-more hours = more $$$$.

September 17 means...

2 THINGS!!!

1. Buster's Birthday

My little angel is 5 years old today! I have never loved an animal as much as I love this little man. He means the world to me. I LOVE YOU BUSTER!!!!



2. We have officially been married 5 months and we don't hate each other! HA :) Can't wait for the many many many more months to follow.

Over the weekend

So over the weekend I went to Biloxi for one of my best friends, Kory Rogers, bachelorette party. We stayed at the Beau Rivage. It was fabulous! We had the best time. We left early Friday morning and got there a little after lunch on Friday. We hung around for a bit, went down to the pool, ate lunch and had drinks. That night we ate at Vibe in the Hard Rock then headed over to The Coast in the Beau. We had an absolute great night!! More fun that I have had in quite some time. Saturday we were lazy in the room all day because it was rainy out and we weren't able to lay by the pool any. That night we ate at BR Prime inside the Beau....divine doesn't even begin to describe how awesome the food was. I got king crab legs...they cracked the shells open and put all of the meat on a plate for you..deLISH. Then we hung out at Eight75 for a bit. Sunday we headed home and I got some much needed rest. This week at work I am doing speech screening at the Head Start I serve so I don't have to be at work until 8:30 or 8:45. It is spoiling me. This weekend starts the many weekends full of engagement parties/showers/stock the bar and weddings. It's going to be a busy yet wonderful fall :)
