Easter 2013

Happy Easter!  We went to church this morning with all of our family.  Its a wonderful thing when your family fills up 2 entire pews at church! The girls are getting wilder everyday so church is getting more and more interesting.  I'm seeing lots of nursery time in our future.  We had a room reserved at the Country Club at 11 for lunch.  Vanessa's parents and Tyler's parent met us there too.  So we were all one big happy family for lunch.  The Easter bunny was there and we tried to get Sadie and Eliza's picture with him.  Needless to say it didn't work out so well.  They said the pictures would be on their website at some point, so hopefully I'll get to download and share it soon.  Let's just say there were lots of screaming and crying going on.  We had a delicious lunch followed by even more yummy desserts. We then headed to my parents house so the girls could have their Easter baskets from my parents and pictures.  Sadie and I had a nice long nap afterwards and we are laying low tonight from a big day.  Hope everyone has as fun and family filled Easter as we did!

Constantly on the go...and fast...

Sadie's Birthday Party!

It is hard to imagine that Sadie has been in our lives for a year now.  She has been the most precious blessing we could have ever asked for.  She smiles and laughs ALL the time.  She has the sweetest spirit.  She gets more and more fun every day.  We never knew how much we could love until she entered our lives.  This past year has been the greatest ever and we can't wait for many, many more years to come.
Her actual birthday was on Friday, March 1st.  We had her party on the 2nd.  It went perfectly! (Thank Goodness)  I decided on a sock monkey theme.  I can't shake the color scheme black, white and pink for some reason! I love it.  It is her room colors (maybe that is why?)  The theme went perfectly with the colors I have come to love so it all fell into place! I ordered some decorations off of Etsy, which turned out to be precious! Mary McGuire made the cake, cookies and cupcakes.  They were absolutely adorable and tasted as good as they looked! She always does an amazing job.  We had a great turn out. We are so blessed to have so many close friends and family that wanted to celebrate our sweet girl's first birthday! Thanks again to everyone who came:)

Birthday party success!!!

We love you Sadie Lea!
