Ashleigh's Wedding Weekend

This past weekend was one of my best friend's, Ashleigh O'Quinn (now Ashleigh Daniel!), wedding weekend!! Friday started out with the bridesmaid luncheon at Park Heights. The food was delish. The rehearsal was at 5:30 then dinner was at the Bancorp South Center. The food was yummy there too. We had a great time. I don't think I have ever laughed that much, that hard in a long time! (Rachael and Danielle...WHOOPI) We went by Old Venice on our way home but apparently missed the memo that it was cougar night up there so we only stayed for a few minutes then headed on home to get some rest for the big day!

Saturday was the big day! Danielle, Rachael and I met at my house and rode to meet up at Park Heights to get in the limo with the other bridesmaids. We started pictures about 3:00 and the ceremony started at 6. Everything was SO beautiful!! Ashleigh-you did an AMAZING job with everything!!!!!!!! The reception was at Park Heights and it was gorgeous and the food was yummm. I had too much fun! Thats okay though, I haven't been able to hang out with that many of my closest friends in a while so it was worth it for sure! I have the absolute best friends! Blessed :)

the GORGEOUS bride!!!!

i love her!

They left for Mexico today...not going to lie...I'm a little (LOT) jealous! While we are here freezing with a chance of snow this week they will be laying on the beach with daiquiris! Oh well, they deserve it! So happy for Ashleigh and Chris! I love you both :)

Back to work I go tomorrow...Hope everyone has a great week!

Snow Days 2011

When we started getting updated about a Winter Storm on Wednesday of last week...I kinda figured that it might actually happen but I never thought we would get as much snow as we did! OMG! Its amazing!! I sometimes wish I lived a little further north so I could be around snow more. I absolutely love snow/cold weather etc...BUT I also love hot summers....so I guess I get the best of both worlds living here (sometimes any way). We left Greenwood early on Sunday because of the storm...we left about 11:30 and it didn't do one thing the entire way home. We were beginning to get disappointed...and then it hit! We got out for a while Sunday night, rode around and went sledding. I was apprehensive at first about getting out but Tyler eventually talked me into it and we had a lot of fun.
Monday we went Las Margaritas with some friends, then went sledding! We ended up going out to some of my family's land and pulled a sled behind the 4wheeler. It was SO much fun! It was hard at first because the snow was so thick but once we got it smoothed out it was much better. After that we came back to our house, had some friends over, grilled and watched the national championship game- Go SEC! I can't really say War Eagle/Go Auburn etc...but I will say go SEC! So we were excited about the outcome.
Tuesday I woke up feeling like complete crap from the previous days festivities.
Did I mention I haven't worked at all this week?? Oh and did I mention I'll probably be working until June OR lose all the days we normally get off (Presidents Day-Easter Monday-Good Friday etcc....) I'm not going to really get into this because it makes me want to cry SO I'll end it here with a few pictures from the past few days!

Looking off our front porch after it started snowing really hard..

My snow angel!

It was snowing so hard my camera wouldn't focus on anything but the snow right in front of it!

This is looking down on McCoullough

Buster LOVED it! When his feet hit the snow it was like someone put jets on his feet haha

Looking down our street

Chris making a snow man before we started sledding

Jenna, Laurie, me and Megan (Megan is Tyler's cousin and those are her friends, we hung out all day and had so much fun!!!! We should hang out again ladies:) )

One more of my little man....

Birthday week festivities

We started off my birthday week festivities by going to eat at Gardenias in Greenwood the night after New Years. It ended up being just Tyler, me and my parents. My mom and I had the broiled grouper with crab meat on top with fries. Their fries are TO. DIE. FOR. One of the best things I have ever eaten!

Before we left.....

Muy deliciouso!

My meal.....

The 4 of us at dinner...

Photo op when we got home! ha

On my actual birthday me, Tyler, my parents and Chip and Vanessa went to eat at Harveys since Chip and Vanessa weren't able to make it to Greenwood on Saturday. Vanessa had the flu all week so she wasn't able to do anything. We again, had a really good time.

Last night I went with my besties to eat. We all went to the Grill. Again-the food was great and its always fun when you get together with friends! I don't have a picture from this night because our waitress was worthless. Danielle, Kory and I didn't get our salads...Nattys order was wrong...etc....BUT regardless we still had fun.
So all in all I had a wonderful birthday week!

I started back work on Wednesday...and lets just say I started back with a LOT to do. It'll calm down for a little bit but then pick right back up with end of the year stuff. Working the in special education department is so great and times and so confusing/stressful/time consuming at other times. The paperwork is a nightmare, but its just part of it. I love my job so I really can't complain. That's all for now :)
