Sadie's First Christmas

What a special Christmas we had this year with our little Sadie bug.  She makes every event so much more special and fun! Kids show you the true meaning to things.  We had Christmas at both sets of my grandparents on Christmas Eve morning and night.

All the great grandbabies
Hannah, Sadie, Evan and Eliza

We woke up Christmas morning to find out we had had a visitor that night, Santa! Being that she was only 9 months old she didn't really get excited or seem to know what was going on, ha.  She did enjoy playing with her new toys though! I think we were more excited than she was.  We opened gifts then I cooked breakfast.

Merry Christmas Sadie!!

Next, we went to lunch at Tyler's parents house.  We had a yummy lunch followed by opening gifts.

and she's done...
We went home for a nap then headed to my parents house! We enjoyed a delicious dinner of steak and potatoes.  But we first opened gifts with our girls! They were so funny and so so sweet.  They are interacting more and more everyday.  Words can't describe how much we love these 2 angels!!

What a wonderful Christmas we had and can't wait to spend many, many more together!

Thanksgiving 2012

We started off Thanksgiving by going to my parent's house with my mom's side of the family.  There is usually around 20-25 people there.  My mom has a big family.  She is one of 4 brothers and sister.  My mom is actually a twin! Paula and Paul (ha).  Thanksgiving night we went to Tyler's parents for his family dinner.  We were so stuffed from lunch we could barely eat!  We ended the festivities by going to my dad's parents house for a yummy lunch with his side of the family.

Sadie looks like a gremlin.  She LOVES Eliza.

Halloween 2012

This year was Sadie's first Halloween! She was a sweet little dragonfly.  Tyler kept calling her a termite because her antennas wouldn't stay up.  I thought they were precious though! And surprisingly enough, she didn't touch them for the entire night.  It was shocking! We started off the night by going to my parents house meeting up with Chip, Vanessa and Eliza.  When Chip was getting Eliza out of the car I saw antennas..then wings...it was so funny! We didn't plan them dressing alike but they sure turned out pretty cute if I say so myself.  We had a mini photo shoot and then ate dinner there.  We then went to Tyler's parents house followed by my grandparents house.  We had one sleepy dragonfly by the time we got home!
Our little butterfly and dragonfly!

We sure love these sweet girls

They kept pulling on each others antennas ha!
