Frances Baby Shower

Today we had Mary Frances' baby shower for the soon to be Molly Elizabeth Massey! I can't wait to meet the precious little angel that I know she will be.  Danielle, Kory, Beth and I were hostesses.  Natty, Ashleigh and Rachel were also host but weren't able to make it before they were all out of town (well Ashleigh lives in Houston, TX...but whatever).  There was a really great turn out and she got a lot of precious stuff!  I love little girls things, they are so sweet :)

Hey Molly!!

Anywho- This is my last week of work until August! It is amazing at how fast the time flies. I will be working some this summer doing therapy for ESY (Extended School Year) for 6 speech kids.  I'll be working 3 hours a week in Mooreville.  An hour and a half on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from May 31 until June 29.  I'm really going to be wearing myself out...NOT :) It'll be nice to make some extra money though.
Well me and tt are about to go meet some friends for dinner so peace out :)

April Showers

Bring May Flowers

I have really gotten into planting flowers this year.  I have always LOVED flowers but I have this one little issue.  I do NOT, repeat do NOT, have a green thumb.  My thumb is more of a blackish/brown color.  I try so hard though.  I water too little.  I water too much.  I don't use Miracle Grow.  I use too much Miracle Grow.  It is just something I have always struggled with.  You can even ask my college roommate, Rachael.  I have always tried to grow flowers.  But, 9 times out of 10, I am unsuccessful.  This year is no different than any other, I have ventured into planting and growing once again.  On a side note...I have already killed one plant.  A hanging plant.  Too much Miracle Grow.

Everything looks so good right now...lets just hope I can keep it that way.

Ground Cover in our front flower bed.  I LOVE it.

Close up view...aren't they pretty

This is the new hanging plant. It replaced the dead one.

It seriously has the prettiest flower buds I have ever seen. LOVE it.

Side note: how fab is this polish? I am obsessed. "Whats with the Cattitude" OPI. I have had it
on for a month, literally.  Please excuse the toes.....

Hanging Around

Since our event anniversary weekend we have been laying pretty low and staying around here.
Easter weekend we hung out with Tyler's cousin Megan (always a good time) and some of her friends. The next day, we went over to Tyler's uncle and aunt's house to grill and hang out. There again we got to hang out with Megan, Haley, their parents, Tyler's parents and the one and only Hank! That is Haley and Megan's grandad, Julie's dad. He is honestly one of the funniest people I have ever hung around! I could sit and listen to him tell stories for hours. Entertaining doesn't do him justice.
On Sunday, we got up and went to church with my parents. Afterwards we had a lunch at Old Venice, we were stuffed, to say the very least. Their Sunday lunch buffet is so very delish! A must try, for sure.

This past weekend we hung around Tupelo again. Friday night, we had a low key night. We just went to dinner at Outback followed by a trip to TJ Maxx then home. Last night, we had an engagement party to go to for Whitney and Patton! I did Whitney's hair and makeup and it turned out really good! I was very proud of myself and Whitney looked gorgeous as always! The party was fun and its always a good time hanging out with close friends.

Has anybody realized that IT IS MAY!!?? There are so many things that May means:
1. Almost summer time! Which means I am off work for 2 months!
2. MCT2 at work (no bueno)
3. IEP meetings galore....don't even want to go there
4. Meetings in general to wrap up the school year
5. Did I mention its almost summer time??

And let me wrap this post of by talking about this past week. For anyone who knows anything about me, knows that I love/obsess over the weather. I love watching it and seeing it develop. Unfortunately, this past week, developed into something horrifying and so devastating for so many people. We were fortunate enough for the storms to not hit our area directly. What is so scary though is that if you travel 25 miles south...what once was a small town...is now a large pile of sticks pretty much. I can't imagine what those people must be feeling. In the blink of an eye everything you have is gone. Let us all just remember these people and pray for them everyday, I know I do.

That's all for now:)

Our Anniversary Weekend

April 17th was our 1 year anniversary! We decided to celebrate by going to Memphis for the night! We left out around lunch on that Saturday. We went to the Ford Dealership, Homer Skelton and let me tell you...unless you have a lot of time to spare or plan on buying a truck immediately, do not go here! We go stuck talking to these people for almost 2 hours. Tyler just wanted to look and these people would not leave us alone. But anyway, after we left there, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to have a few wings to keep us from starving until dinner. After that we went on to the Doubletree, which is where we were staying. When we got there we noticed that it was extremely crowded..come to find out there was a fraternity formal there that night, HA! So needless to say we saw a LOT of drunk college students that night. They were Pikes from U of Arkansas.
Anywho....our dinner reservations were for 7:30 at Texas de Brazil. Our dinner was amazing!! I definitely want to go back there in the near future. One of our favorite things to eat is a good steak, so this place really hit the spot. And that salad bar! YUM.
After we got done it we went out for a little bit. We started out at the Flying Saucer and just went from there!
All in all, we acted like two freshman in college and had a perfect night! :)

Yummmmy dinner

Dinna time!

at Flying Saucer

I think we literally saw about 5 bachelorette parties! They always make me laugh and think about how much fun I had on mine!

Just for fun:)
