I don't understand?

So my parents called me this morning to tell me that almost everything (except for the large farm equipment) had been stolen from our hunting camp in Greenwood. They stole: 2 lawn mowers, Mule (a side by side), Rhino (another side by side), chainsaws, all my dads tools, 3 trailers, large air compressor and many other things. Thats just the main things I remember them telling me. Please tell me why people decide to steal other people belongings?? My dad has worked hard his entire life to get where he is today and for someone just to come and take it??? I don't understand. They would have stole more, but we are assuming they didn't have any more room from all the other stuff they took! A-HOLES. They tried to hot wire the Tyrex (another side by side) but were unsuccessful so now the seat is torn out of it. Its ridiculous. We feel so violated. Luckily they didn't go in the house or try to break in. Thats the ONLY good thing. (besides them not taking the farm equipment). Whats so scary about all of this, is that the people who did this...had to have planned this out and/or been there before. To take 3 trailers...means you have to have 3 trucks. Its scary to know people had been scoping this out. So frustrating and so hurtful. Its so sad to hear the pain in my dad and moms voices. Breaks my heart. I think there's not much worth then stealing from people. Low lifes. Hopefully they'll be caught...doubtful but you have to have hope. Oh well...maybe the next post won't be so depressing :(
