Baby T #2 is a.....

On September 8 we had a gender reveal party for baby #2.  We invited our family to come to Old Venice.
Earlier that day Tyler, Sadie and I loaded up and went to the doctor, Dr. Webb:) My appointment was at 9 so we had to wait all day long to tell anyone! I just stayed home and avoided everyone so I wouldn't be harassed.

Baby T was healthy, PTL!

Around 5:30 we headed up to Old Venice to start setting up for the party.

Inside these balloons is the secret!

Everyone seemed to think it would be a boy....

To reveal the gender we put the confetti inside the balloons then popped them!

Sadie was being ill for some reason:(

PINK!!

Its a GIRL!!!!  Our sweet Sadie Lea will have a sister!!

We are thrilled!! She will be here around early mid February! And I don't have to have sell any of Sadie's clothes, which secretly makes me happy:)

We can't wait!

First Day of Preschool!

On September 2nd, Sadie started back preschool at FUMC! She is in the older 2s class.  Her teachers are Mrs. Lauren Zuelzke and Mrs. Sallie Belle.  She wasn't very excited at first but once we got there she went to Mrs. Lauren and they started playing.  We love our preschool and are so excited for a new year!
Unfortunately this was as good as it was getting!
Oh well:)

Bye Bye Paci

I (finally) took the paci away from my sweet girl.  I decided at the beginning of the summer that I would potty train first then take the paci away.  We started potty training the last week of June and I made the deadline for the paci August 1st.  I talked about it all week leading up to that day.  I told her we were going to give them away to other babies that needed them.  So that morning after she woke up.  We walked around putting all her pacis in a ziploc bag and took them to the mailbox to "send" them to the other babies.  She really didn't even fuss.  She made it fairly easy on me.  She only fussed a few times the first couple of days and mentions them every now and then but overall she has done amazing.  We have now been paci free for a week! Go Sadie!

Here we go again!

We will be welcoming another little member to our family in February 2015! We are thrilled!

Smith Lake

For Tyler's birthday this year we invited a few friends to go to Smith Lake with us for the weekend.  We had never been to there before so we were very excited to explore and see what all this lake had to offer.  It was absolutely beautiful! The water was amazing and felt so clean.  We rode the boat, grilled and had a great time with friends all weekend celebrating for Tyler!

This baby girl LOVES to swim

Boating can wear a girl out

Gorgeous views

Nashville Trip 2014

Tyler, Sadie and I packed up and headed to Nashville so we could all meet our new baby cousin Camden.  Haley and Warren were nice enough to let us wreck their house for a few days to come visit. We stayed in on Friday night since we had just traveled 3.5 hrs and visited.  Sadie LOVED Camden.

Saturday we woke up and headed to the zoo! Sadie loved seeing all the animals and Camden slept the entire time, ha.

After the zoo we thought it would be fun to take them to the Rainforest Cafe for some lunch.  But we were wrong.  Sadie was terrified of the all the noises and animals and cried on and off from the time we got there until we left.  I don't think he being very sleepy from being out all morning helped. Maybe next time!
We headed back to their house for naps after lunch and little tink slept over 3 hours.  We had worn her out because she never takes over 3 hour naps.
For dinner we went to Sopapillas, a great Mexican please.  It was delish!

Sunday we packed up and headed home! Such a fun time visiting with family.
