Happy 2nd Birthday Sadie!

It is so hard to believe my sweet girl is already 2!! What a wonderful 2 years it has been.  We got to have her party on her birthday this year since it was on a Saturday.  I had been watching the weather like a hawk because I was so nervous of how it was going to be.  In Mississippi in March it can be 25 and snowing or 70 and sunny.  Luckily we enjoyed the latter of those 2! It was absolutely gorgeous.  We were surrounded by all of our close family and friends and it was perfect.  The day couldn't have gone any better for our sweet girl and for that we are thankful!

The decorations....

Gotta love Pinterest

Thank you Mary McGuires for the delicious and precious cookies and cupcake!

Birthday girl!!

Sweet sweet Molly Massey:)

Anne Cambria, Sadie and Molly chatting

times for gifts!

Sadie loved Mary Kate, she kept saying "baby", even though MK is pretty much her size!

Happy Birthday to youuuuu!!!

Eliza wanted in on the action

They loved it!

Sadie's at 2 years old:
Weight: 23-24lbs
Height: 30ish inches (we haven't been to the doctor lately so these aren't quite accurate)
Favorite foods: NONE! jk...she is still a terrible eater.  She does like cheese, goldfish, any type of sweets (unfortunately), grapes, strawberries,  hot dogs, yogurt...her most favorite thing is strawberry milk!
She talks all the time and you can pretty much carry on a conversation with her now.
Terrible 2s have hit! She is really testing her boundaries.  Discipline is becoming harder these days which makes me sad because I really don't like to hurt her feelings but sometimes its just necessary.
She loves to be outside, running, seeing the ducks, playing in her playroom, baby dolls...etc Her most absolute favorite thing right now is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and anything that goes with it.
She still will nap 2x a day but its different every day.  Some days she refuses and others she'll take 2, 1.5 hr naps.
She sleeps great at night.  She usually goes down around 7:30-8 and will wake up between 6:30-7.  I have to get her up during the week so early so I can't expect her to sleep late on the weekends.  Oh well!
She gets funnier every day and has the best and sweetest little personality.  We love her so!
Can't wait to spend another year and many many MANY more with our angel!

Snow Day 2014

We woke up last Tuesday to a little, and I mean little, surprise on the ground, snow!!  I wasn't too sad about getting the day off of work either.  I took Sadie to the front door to look out the window and show her.  She said "ooooo mama wook wook!" "pwetty!"  Then Tyler and I rode her around the neighborhood in his truck to look at it all before it quickly melted.  When we got home I suited her up and let her walk around in it for a minute.  She loved it!

Headed out...

bye mama!

Christmas Day 2013

After our sweet family morning Sadie had a nap while we got ready.  For lunch we headed on over to Tyler's parent for Christmas with them.  Somehow these are the only pictures we ended up with.  Sadie got lots of sweet gifts from his family and we had a good time.

We went back home so she could nap and rest before the big night ahead.  Around 5 we went over to my parents for Christmas with them and Chip, Vanessa and Eliza.  Before we really got things started my grandad, better known as Papa C, stopped by for a minute.  We had to have a few pictures with him.  He will be having open heart surgery very soon so please everyone keep him in your prayers.

We took some family pictures as well....

There are way more picture attempts that look like this than the other!
This is greatness.

Love LOVE these sweet girls

Then it was time to get down to business!  We let the girls open all of their presents first.  My mom got them kitchens and it was so precious to see the look on their faces when they saw them.  Priceless!

Eliza decided she needed to try and get in to the kitchen

Then Sadie decided she would like to try

Poppy help!

Next the big kids had our Christmas with each other.  We visited for a while then headed home.  Sadie Lea was worn out!
We had such a wonderful Christmas! Every year with our sweet girls gets better and better.  We can't even remember life without them.
Bring it on 2014!
