Sadie's Birthday Party!

It is hard to imagine that Sadie has been in our lives for a year now.  She has been the most precious blessing we could have ever asked for.  She smiles and laughs ALL the time.  She has the sweetest spirit.  She gets more and more fun every day.  We never knew how much we could love until she entered our lives.  This past year has been the greatest ever and we can't wait for many, many more years to come.
Her actual birthday was on Friday, March 1st.  We had her party on the 2nd.  It went perfectly! (Thank Goodness)  I decided on a sock monkey theme.  I can't shake the color scheme black, white and pink for some reason! I love it.  It is her room colors (maybe that is why?)  The theme went perfectly with the colors I have come to love so it all fell into place! I ordered some decorations off of Etsy, which turned out to be precious! Mary McGuire made the cake, cookies and cupcakes.  They were absolutely adorable and tasted as good as they looked! She always does an amazing job.  We had a great turn out. We are so blessed to have so many close friends and family that wanted to celebrate our sweet girl's first birthday! Thanks again to everyone who came:)

We love you Sadie Lea!

12 month checkup

We went for her 12m checkup and shots on March 5th.  She was 20lbs (50th percentile) and 28.5in long (50th percentile).  She got 5 shots that she did NOT enjoy! Everything was perfect.  We are so blessed to have such a healthy baby girl!!

Bath time is fun!

Sadie LOVES bath time! If she hears the water start running next thing you know she is walking up right behind you.  She has a fit until you put her in.  She plays and plays until it is time to get out.  Bath time is one of my favorite parts of the day.  We do lots and lots of talking and singing:)

Eliza Lea's 1st Birthday Party

My sweet niece, Eliza, turned 1 on February 16th.  Chip and Vanessa had her party at their house.  It was so much fun and everything was decorated perfectly.  There was a ton of people there too! We both come from large families and of course they all have to be there to see their sweet girl turn 1! Eliza got lots of wonderful things and was a perfect little angel the entire time! We love you Eliza Lea!!

Little Miss started walking at 11 months! I just thought she was into everything when she was crawling...HAAAAA.  She is literally everywhere and into it all!

Sweet Pictures

I needed a few good pictures to set around and use in a frame I bought for her birthday party, so I decided I would do a some myself! I found a really green spot in my back yard and then a spot with some pretty yellow butter cups! It was fairly windy that day and kinda cool so we made it quick.  I think they turned out pretty sweet.
