June happenings

The month of June was extremellllyyyy busy for me! I took a class to become a certified teacher. I am specializing in special education.  Some issues came up with my current job so this is the path I have decided to take and I'm pretty excited about it!  The class started on June 11th and was over June 29th, 8am to 3pm.  They crammed a TON of information into those three weeks so it went by pretty quick, thank goodness.  I was not excited about being away from Sadie everyday.  I had been with her pretty much all day every day since she was born.  But all is well now...that is until August and I'm not even going there right now....

We have done many new things since I last blogged on here....

We have tried cereal! She loved it and she gets a little better eating it every day!

We have played in Mimi's Jumperoo! She was a tad confused at first but seems to enjoy it...

I could just eat these precious legs
Hung around in the bumbo....

And swung a little! She has her dad's little peanut head so no sunglasses fit but these that wrap around her head. The swing was also a hit.

We also started trying foods! Squash is first. She seems to really like it. I mix half a small jar of squash with some cereal and it seems to be a little easier on her stomach.  The very first time, I just gave her squash alone and it seemed to upset her stomach so thats why I have started mixing it and so far so good! I can't believe my little baby girl is eating real food. Tear.

what IS this??

I think I like it...

3 Months Old

Sweet Sadie turned 3 months old on June 1st.  Time is FLYING and it makes me so sad.  She gets sweeter and sweeter everyday.  For the past couple of weeks she was waking up for her bottles around 5am after going to sleep around 8:30 or 9....well this week sweet angel has starting going from around 8:30 or 9 at night until 7 or 8 in the morning! Sleeping until 5 is technically through the night, but until 7 or 8 is definitely through the night! It is wonderful. We have also started putting in her a little bed beside us at night too.  Makes me sad but I know if we ever want her out of the bed, we have to start now :( She makes it in there a little longer every night, its a work in progress.  I'm not going to lie, I like snuggling with her those last few hours before she wakes up! She is getting more and more fun every day too.  She is smiling ALL the time and starting to "talk" more too.  We will start cereal and yellow vegetables in a couple of weeks.  Kind of brings a tear to my eyes! My sweet little girl will be eating food which means she is growing up.  I didn't think I would be this emotional about all of it but I definitely am.  I literally cry thinking about working and her growing up.  But it's just part of it and although it makes me sad, she is more and more fun every day so it's okay!
The pictures get a little easier every time due to the fact little bit has wonderful head control and is getting stronger.  Love her!!

Happy baby!

Always have to stick one of the "eye" pics in there...

kiss'em all day....

Fun Times

Every day seems like a new adventure with our little Sadie bug.  I have tried a few new activities with her in the past few weeks and they have all pretty much been a hit!

First, I brought out a swing we got as a gift.  It was so much fun.  She loved it.  It was the first time we heard her actually really laugh out loud! So sweet.  She talked, cooed and smiled the whole time.

Kiss these cheeks all day every day.

Since the weather has been so hot, we decided we would take a dip in the pool (mini pool).  My parents bought one of those small kiddie pools for the girls to play in.  They were so funny and seemed to love it, well right until the end anyway, Sadie was over it by then!

Sleepy marks still on her face :)

over it...

seriously over it....

It is so much fun seeing these sweet girls together.
